Funny, but when denim-on-denim trend first came around, I can honestly say I wasn't particularly excited. Yet, slowly but surely, it found it's way into my closet. Now, of course, I practically live in my cut-offs and denim shirts. Seriously! :) You can observe the evince of my denim-on-denim obsession here & here.
I think denim is basically my equivalent of a safety blanket: it's familiar, comfortable and comforting. The more I wear, the more I want to:) So, I abandoned any attempts to fight the urge to dress in denim head-to-toe, and simply challenge myself to try and find new ways of wearing it.
Today's look is all about mixing denim pieces in different colors, like combining a bleached denim shirt and a pair of white denim cut-offs. And since color pretty much rules all of my outfits, I added a beautiful rose-hued utility jacket and a pair of silver-grey separated flats thanks to Randa, an awesome brand from Japan, who just launched their international on-line store, for just a bit of color.
