FITTED FLORAL

Just got this dress, and simply couldn't wait to take it for a walk. You know how it is with new, cute things :) Since Emil and I had dinner plans, I though it would be the perfect opportunity to dress up a bit. For me, this dress is a perfect example of sexy and classic. Love the way long sleeves and high neckline balance out the sexy front slit and dramatic floral print. Definitely one of my favorite dresses at the moment! 

In other news, I just found out my mom and brother are flying in from Toronto for my B-Day, which is coming up just at the end of the month! As I mentioned before, my family lives in Canada and I don't get to see them nearly as much as I would like. So, every visit is super special to me! SEQUINS & SPOTS: VIVALUXURY FOR JOIE

Hey Everyone! I'm sure by now you all know what a huge Joie fan I am, based on the countless appearances it made on my blog ( see a few posts here, here & here ), which is why I am beyond excited to partner with them to showcase their new denim collection. If you read my blog on regular basis, you know that quality, craftsmanship and fit are extremely important to me, which is what attracted me to Joie in the first place. COASTAL LIVING - VENICE BEACH & MARINA DEL REY

Hey Everyone! As I mentioned before, I am super excited to partner with ShopSense to share my favorite "best kept secret" spots in LA. Previously, I talked about Malibu Country Mart { see here } & Catalina Island { see here }, this time I want to talk about Marina del Rey & Venice Beach. 

Now, granted both Marina del Rey and Venice Beach are both pretty popular destinations, still, there are a few less-traveled spots around both. One of my favorite spots in Marina del Rey is the Marina Harbor, peaceful and quiet, it offers gorgeous water-front views. Emil and I like to wonder around the Harbor simply admiring the scenery, or rent kayaks and paddel boards on beautiful sunny days if we feel like being more active. Talk about being active, we got into biking again recently, and since then we've been spending all of our free time riding along the Venice Canals in Venice Beach. Much less crowded then the Venice boardwalk, the canals are a pretty great spot for a bike ride, especially if you have a soft spot for cute little cottages, pretty landscape and super friendly faces everywhere you go!:)
